Melanie Warner is an author, speaker and founder of the new Defining Moments book series that offer positive stories of hope and inspiration from people who have overcome extreme challenges in life. Warner lost her own son, which inspired her to write her latest book Defining Moments: Coping With the Loss of a Child as a resource of hope for parents and siblings who have experienced the loss of a child. The book features multiple stories from parents that share a message of hope, along with contact information and resources to help the reader understand they are not alone in their journey.
Lo Anne Mayer is a speaker and author who lives in New York. After losing both her mother and daughter within a few months of each other, she developed a process for healing that inspired her book: Celestial Conversations: Healing Relationships After Death. Gloria C. Horsley MFC CNS Ph.D. is a bereaved parent and president of the Open to Hope Foundation. Gloria co-hosts (with daughter Heidi Horsley) the award-winning cable television and radio shows Open to Hope. She blogs for the Huffington Post and Mother’s Against Drunk Drivers (MADD) and has authored a number of books and articles. She dedicates her work to her deceased son, Scott.
